Property Rights Australia Announces “The Rocky Rally”
A peaceful rally is organized for Rockhampton to demonstrate landholders’ disgust at the Beattie Government’s removal of basic Civil Liberties, by the introduction of the Vegetation Management Act 1999, the Water Act 2000, the loss of fee simple Freehold title rights and the uncertainty over tenure on Leasehold titles.
WHEN: Thursday 6th October 2005 Starting at 12:30p.m.
WHERE: Starting point Toonooba Park Lower Quay Street.
ROUTE: Toonooba Park to Quay Street to William
Street to Bolsover Street to Denham Street
to East Street (East Street Mall). Return to
Quay Street to Pilbeam Theatre on the
banks of the Fitzroy River.
You are cordially invited to attend. Bring your banner, bring your walking shoes and sun hat. PRA members are encouraged to organize buses/transport from your areas.
The Premier, Hon. Peter Beattie, has been invited to address the Rally.
