Invites all PRA members, landholders & others in all primary production industries to attend a peaceful protest rally in Rockhampton on Thursday the 6th Oct 2005 to voice your objections to this Government’s approach to Vegetation Management Act, Water Act, Civil Rights etc.
Following the success of the Brisbane Rally it is important to keep the pressure on Premier Beattie. He will be in Rockhampton for a Regional sitting of Parliament. Hopefully he will step forward this time to address the crowd. To send a strong message, bring your banners, partners, neighbours because remember this is a fight you can not afford to lose.
Meet at Toonooba Park, Quay Street Rockhampton at 11.30 on the 6/10/05 for a 12.30 start to the march. The march will conclude at the Pilbeam Theatre where Parliament is sitting.
